ISDN 2/30

Matrix Communications customers requiring high-speed digital connections may consider ISDN solutions. ISDN is specifically designed to solve the low bandwidth problems that small offices or dial-in users have with traditional dial-in services.

ISDN2 or Basic Rate ISDN consists of 2 channels and is ideally suited for small and medium sized enterprises which have a small switch or PBX, or for the branch offices of larger organisations. It can be used for a wide variety of applications, including videoconferencing and file transfer.

ISDN30 or Primary Rate ISDN consists of 30 channels and is more suitable for medium to large sized businesses which have a PBX and who want voice and data together in their communications system. Customers can choose to split the use of the 30 channels in any way they wish, perhaps utilising 15 channels for data and 15 channels for voice. ISDN services are also often used as a back-up to a customers' main WAN connection. Please contact us for more information.
